Piano
I started playing the piano at the age three at the Indianapolis Suzuki Academy. I played the piano everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes. I have completed book nº5 in the Suzuki method and started choosing and playing my favorite songs.
Together with my teacher, Timothy, I had the opportunity to showcase my musical abilities at the Indianapolis Museum of Art during Buttler's recital. During the performance, I played one of my favorite songs, the Nocturne in C sharp Minor by Frédéric Chopin.

Yasseen won first place in the Junior Division of the 20th Anniversary Young Hoosier State Piano Competition in Jazz, Blues & Boogie by playing Zez Confrey's "Dizzy Fingers." His flawless execution and impressive musicality wowed the judges and audience, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication. I struggle most of the days learning how to play new songs and here is an example of that with plenty of mistakes 😁 |
